HOW A CHILDHOOD DREAM TRANSFORMED TRAUMA INTO PURPOSE!

HOW A CHILDHOOD DREAM TRANSFORMED TRAUMA INTO PURPOSE!

Robin Pulley brings a rich and multifaceted life story shaped by resilience, creativity, and service. Paralyzed by polio at just five years old, they refused to let adversity define them. Instead, they cultivated a lifelong passion for the arts—studying at four universities—and went on to build a career as a professional photographer, contributing to two magazines and working in marketing and visual communication. Their professional path also included years as a stockbroker and more than 15 years teaching nutrition seminars, empowering others to take control of their health and well-being. Beyond their professional accomplishments, they have remained deeply committed to community involvement, including mental-health advocacy and major local fundraisers. Now married with grown children and grandchildren, they share a remarkable personal journey that bridges both sides of the caregiving experience. Their story, From Patient to Caregiver, is rooted in an extraordinary childhood dream: despite early paralysis, they believed one day they would travel to Africa—and that dream became a guiding force in a life shaped by perseverance, purpose, and compassion.
